As a Brown Belt certified under Tosh Cook and Royce Gracie,
Rex has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2012 and teaching students of all ages since 2013. Rex focuses on technical details and ensuring that techniques work for everyone, not just the strongest or most athletic individuals. His goal is to make Jiu-Jitsu accessible to all, regardless of age or ability.
Rex’s journey began when his wife and son surprised him with their first class together as a Father’s Day gift. What started as a family activity quickly became his personal meditation and outlet for dealing with the stresses of modern life. Today, he teaches because he loves watching students experience those “light bulb” moments.
For Rex, Jiu-Jitsu is more than just a martial art; it’s a community. He values the brotherhood, support, and growth that come from training together at the academy.

Rex Jorgensen
Raj is a purple belt certified under Professor Tosh Cook and Royce Gracie. His journey in jiu-jitsu began in 2016, shortly after a potentially tragic car accident, where he quickly realized he needed to make some changes in his life.
Falling quickly in love with the art, Raj continued training and began helping with instruction in kids' classes, where his passion blossomed further.
Seeing the change that jiu jitsu had made in his own life, he saw teaching as an opportunity to help others grow and become better versions of themselves. Raj attributes his personal and professional growth largely to jiu-jitsu, as he sees the benefits of the art permeating every aspect of his life. He wishes to help others see and experience the same.
